During the festival the streets of York will come alive to the jingling bells, brightly coloured costumes and music of 200 Morris Dancers. It is organised by local team Ebor Morris in co-operation with City of York Council.
Teams are coming from as far afield as Brighton and encompass all traditions of the dance from the loud, brash face-painted Border dancers through the white dressed Cotswold to the precise Step Clog and exciting Appalachian dancers.
It’s a feast for the senses, not to be missed, so come along to the squares of York and enjoy the spectacle!
